Author, editor and journalist Annette J Beveridge (One Planet News) has a background in conservation and strives to make a difference protecting and saving wildlife and providing workshops on environmental issues and climate change.
Annette has created two powerful courses for those who wish to study and learn how to make a difference. These first two courses focus on Conservation and on Sustainable Living.
Living Sustainably
The Sustainable Living course covers the three pillars of sustainability and how to implement easy-to-incorporate sustainable methods into every day life.
This includes reducing, reusing and recycling and upcycling. We will cover edible weeds, grass-cycling and starting an organic garden as well as how to provide a complete green makeover for your house and garden.

Conservation Course
The Conservation Course looks at the fundamentals and what conservation is all about. There is a focus on human activities and our impact on Planet Earth.
Students will learn about the importance of biodiversity, about species coexistence, and priorities for different species and habitats.
The course provides a comprehensive introduction into marine ecosystems, bees and pollination and carnivores. Students will learn about conservation biology , protected areas, national parks, and wildlife sanctuaries.
In addition, students will study urban and rural land management, environmental law, conservation in practice as well as on a global level.
This is a wonderful step towards a career in conservation.
